JL Chave Sélection Hermitage Rouge 'Farconnet' 2020

From the storied Hermitage hill in France's Rhone Valley, the JL Chave Sélection Hermitage Rouge 'Farconnet' 2020 draws its character from Syrah grapes grown in premier spots like Les Diognières and Les Greffieux. This bottling reflects a thoughtful approach, blending regional intensity with everyday appeal in a 750ml package at 14% ABV.

Picture uncorking a wine that greets you with a vivid deep ruby color, edged in subtle garnet tones. The aromas rise generously—blackberries unfold alongside briny olives and delicate violets, laced with whispers of smoky bacon and licorice that hint at hidden layers waiting to emerge.

Take a sip, and the palate responds with lush dark fruits weaving through mineral streaks and savory whispers. Its full body carries forward on tannins that integrate effortlessly, wrapped in a smooth, almost silken texture. What lingers is a drawn-out finish, where floral echoes dance with spice, inviting another taste.

For those evenings when you crave a red wine with presence, this Hermitage Rouge stands ready. Pair it with roasted meats or aged cheeses to let its nuances shine, or set it aside in your cellar to watch it transform gracefully through 2038. Whether you're exploring Rhone Valley treasures or building a collection, the 'Farconnet' delivers refined satisfaction without overwhelming demands.

Chave's touch ensures this Syrah stays true to its origins, offering a bridge between bold tradition and approachable pleasure. Elevate your next gathering or quiet moment with a bottle that promises depth and balance in every pour.
