Discover the story behind Buzzard's Roost Char #1 Rye Whiskey, born from an unexpected partnership in 2019. Judy Hollis Jones and Jason Brauner crossed paths during a barrel pick, sparking a bold vision to launch their own whiskey line. What began as a shared passion quickly evolved into a commitment to stand apart in the world of American spirits from Kentucky.

This rye whiskey embodies their drive for distinction through collaboration with a seasoned barrel specialist at Independent Stave Company. Together, they crafted proprietary barrels designed for secondary maturation, featuring Char #1 to enhance the whiskey's interaction with the wood. By extending the seasoning process to at least 18 months—far beyond the usual six—they ensured a deeper foundation. Custom toast profiles further unlock unique oak expressions, setting Buzzard's Roost apart in every pour.

Each edition emerges from a meticulous blend of just a handful of barrels, guaranteeing variation with every release. No two batches mirror each other, yet all deliver on a promise of consistent enjoyment. At 52.50% ABV in a 750 ml bottle, this Kentucky rye whiskey invites sipping sessions that reveal its crafted character over time.

Ideal for enthusiasts seeking American whisky with a personal touch, Buzzard's Roost Char #1 Rye Whiskey captures the essence of innovation rooted in tradition. Whether stocking your home bar or hunting for that next standout spirit, this bottle offers a fresh take on rye from the heart of whiskey country. Elevate your collection with a spirit that tells a tale of creativity and quality in every glass.
